Submersible thermometer for measuring the temperature of irrigation water or solution.

Monitoring the temperature of the irrigation water or fertilizer solution is of considerable importance to plants. The optimal temperature at which their roots most easily absorb the solution is 20 ^o C. Much lower and higher values can lead to stress or death of the root system.
